Every day in May, Money Saving Mom is challenging her readers to try to find at least seven things to get rid of – sell, donate, or toss. I’ve already done a lot of clutter busting on my own this year, but there is always more that can be done. At 7 items a day, that means I need to get rid of 217 items by the end of the month.
I donated 4 document frames, a stress ball, cooking tongs, a glass cutting board, 8 plastic food storage containers, and 9 plastic food container lids (all pictured above). I also gave a picture frame away to a co-worker. (25 items)
Additionally, I threw away 3 broken flower pots, 8 plastic bags that had houses compose (not sure why I was saving those since they were too torn to re-use as garbage bags), 3 piles of old financial papers, and 2 old magazines. (16 items)
How is your clutter busting going?
